Keep Going...No Matter What!

Have you ever tried to accomplish something great or even something basic, but kept being met with challenge after challenge and obstacle after obstacle? Well, that's pretty much what most successful people go through. The difference between those who achieve their dreams or breakthroughs, and those who don't, is the fact that the dream achievers and breakthrough receivers kept going...no matter what. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:36, “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.”

It's very tempting to give up when you pour your heart and your time into something, and you don't see the results you want. Even though you may not see results right away, that doesn't mean your goals won't be achieved or that your breakthrough won't happen. It just may mean that you need more time, more fasting and prayer, or a revamping of how you're going to achieve your goals, but it doesn't have to mean that you should give up.

I’m sure you've heard it before, but I'll reiterate it. Everything worth having is worth fighting for. Everything worth having is also worth putting in the work to get it. Colossians 3:23-24 states, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward ”

This principle applies to work goals as well as spiritual and emotional goals. When met with challenges, we have to keep going no matter the obstacle. The Bible says that that is what God calls us to do. Galatians 6:9 states, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” That settles it! Because God said that if we can just keep going, we will see our breakthrough if we don’t give up, we simply have to keep going…no matter what!

One way you can keep going no matter what is by finding out what inspires you and keep your inspiration close. Also, you can make sure that your conversations about whatever you’re going through are positive, and on top of that, you should talk to positive people. If you’re teetering on the verge of giving up, this would not be the time to engage Negative Nancy in conversation or keep talking negatively about what you are going through. You have to surround yourself with like-minded people who are focused on Christ and people who are focused on accomplishing all that God has called them to accomplish. Doing these things will help to inspire you, but you have to put in the work to stay inspired. With inspiration comes initiative and with persistent initiative comes illimitable success. Again, it may not be easy, but I know it will be worth it if you just keep going. No matter what.
